Buy it together with your ticket for the lowest guaranteed online rate (up to 60% less than the airport). You can still add baggage in 'Mi reserva' before web check-in; after check-in it can only be bought at the airport at a higher price.

How does Flybondi calculate extra baggage charges?

Accepted Answer

Flybondi charges per piece, per passenger and per flight leg. Published 'from' prices are in Argentine pesos and depend on the route (domestic Argentina vs international); prices can increase without notice and international rates are subject to foreign-exchange changes.

Yes — buying online with your ticket is up to 60% cheaper than at the airport. Example domestic rate (prices as of 09/12/25): a 20 kg bag costs from ARS 33,999 with the ticket vs ARS 55,000 at the airport.

The ticket includes one free under-seat personal item up to 6 kg (max 30x40x20 cm), or up to 10 kg on flights from/to Brazil. Paid extras: 9 kg cabin bag (max 55x35x25 cm), 12 kg or 20 kg checked bags (max 158 cm linear), and 15 kg sports/musical equipment (max 277 cm linear).

What are the overweight or oversized baggage rules?

You can add up to 5 extra kg to a 12 kg or 20 kg checked bag, up to a maximum of 32 kg per bag; at the airport excess weight is charged per kilo (ARS 5,000 domestic / ARS 8,000 international). No extra kg can be added to cabin bags. Oversized sports/musical items must be booked as the 15 kg special baggage.

Can I get a refund or change extra baggage after buying it?

Accepted Answer

No. Once the extra baggage is confirmed on your booking, Flybondi makes no refunds or changes.

Are there any important exceptions I should know?

The 12 kg checked bag is sold online only, and the 9 kg cabin bag is only sold on domestic, Uruguay and Paraguay routes. Purchased bag weights cannot be combined — each piece must respect its own purchased weight limit.
