Steps
- Go to airalgerie.dz and click "Gérer ma réservation" (Manage My Booking).
- Enter the passenger's last name (Nom) and the 6-character booking reference (Référence de réservation).
- Open the booking and select "Ajouter des services" (Add services), then choose the baggage purchase (achat de bagage) option.
- Select the number of extra bags you need (up to the route limit) and complete the online payment with a credit card, or an Algerian Edahabia / CIB card for DZD.
- The extra baggage is added to your booking and appears on your updated itinerary and e-ticket.

Extra bags are priced per piece, by route and direction: fees for flights departing Algeria (DZ) are charged in DZD; inbound fees are charged in the foreign origin country's currency (e.g. EUR for France, GBP for the UK, USD for Turkey, Egypt and Beirut). Two timing tiers apply — ">24h" means purchased more than 24 hours before the flight, "<24h" means less than 24 hours before the flight or at the airport. Up to 4 extra pieces per passenger depending on the route (up to 2 on ATR aircraft; only 1 extra piece on international medium-haul Air Algérie aircraft and chartered aircraft).
