Steps
- Go to drukair.com.bt and click 'Manage Booking' on the home page (or open the Drukair Mobile App and go to Trips).
- Enter your booking details (PNR and surname) and search your reservation.
- Select 'Additional Services'.
- Choose the desired excess baggage weight from the dropdown menu.
- Click 'Apply' and proceed with payment to complete the pre-purchase.
- Alternatively, contact customer care at [email protected] or visit any Drukair office to pre-pay excess baggage.

Weight-based excess baggage charged per kg in USD. Rates vary by sector and direction, and are lower when pre-purchased at least 4 hours before departure. Any combined weight exceeding the free plus prepaid allowance is charged at the standard airport rate.

Are there any important restrictions on prepaid baggage?
Prepaid baggage applies to checked baggage only, cannot be transferred to another ticket, requires separate purchases for each direction of a round trip, and earns no loyalty points. AVIH (Animal in Hold) and fragile/oversized items are excluded.
