Purchase prepaid extra baggage before departure with up to 10% discount when purchased at least 24 hours before departure. Extra baggage can also be purchased online between 24 hours and 1 hour before departure, or at the airport. Steps

  1. Go to cathaypacific.com and click 'Manage Booking' or access the Cathay Pacific app
  2. Click on 'Find a booking'
  3. Enter your booking reference (PNR) and last name to retrieve your booking, or sign in to your account
  4. Select 'Prepaid extra baggage' or 'Travel extras' from the booking management options
  5. Choose the number of extra bags you wish to purchase (maximum 3 pieces for prepaid discount)
  6. Review the extra baggage charges based on your route zones and complete the payment
  7. Alternatively, purchase extra baggage at the airport check-in counter up to departure time
