Steps
- Go to brusselsairlines.com and click "My flights" in the top navigation.
- Log in with your Travel ID or enter your six-digit booking code (e.g. ABCD12) and your last name to retrieve your reservation.
- Open "Manage bookings" and select the "Baggage" section of your booking.
- Choose the type of baggage you need (extra standard bag, excess baggage, or sports equipment) and the number of pieces.
- Complete payment online and check your confirmation email with your updated itinerary.

Prices are route-specific minimums from the official baggage calculator; they vary by route, fare class, number of bags, purchase channel (online / check-in counter / gate) and booking date. Displayed prices are valid up to 8 days before departure, with higher rates afterwards. Up to 5 additional pieces can be purchased per passenger; more must be registered via the Service Centre.

Excess baggage (overweight / oversized)
Bags exceeding the limits of the fare's free allowance (24-32 kg and/or 159-292 cm) are charged route-specific excess baggage fees shown in the baggage calculator. An additional bag that is overweight/oversized can be pre-booked online, via the Service Centre, or at the airport (online is cheapest); when a bag within the free bag count exceeds the allowance, the excess fee is only charged at the check-in counter. Excess baggage cannot be bought during online check-in, and items over 32 kg or over 315 cm must be sent as air freight.
