Steps

  1. Go to https://www.airnewzealand.com and click on 'Manage Booking' in the navigation menu.
  2. Log in using one of the following methods:
  3. - Enter booking reference and passenger last name, or
  4. - Login with Airpoints account credentials.
  5. Select your booking from the list.
  6. Choose 'Add an extra bag' or 'Prepaid Extra Bags' option.
  7. Select the number of additional bags and complete payment.
  8. Alternatively, use the Air NZ mobile app (iOS/Android) to manage booking and add bags.
  9. Pre-paid purchase available up to 90 minutes before international flights, 30 minutes before domestic.
  10. Airport purchase is also available at check-in counter (much higher rates apply).
