Steps
- Go to salamair.com and click 'Manage Booking' (or add extra baggage during the initial booking flow, on the Extras step).
- Enter your Booking Reference (PNR) and Last Name to retrieve your booking.
- Open the baggage/Extras section for your flight and select the extra baggage weight package offered for your route (e.g. 10 kg, 20 kg or 30 kg).
- Complete the online payment - the extra baggage is added to your booking and you will receive a confirmation email.
- Alternatively, add extra baggage via the 24/7 Call Centre or by visiting one of SalamAir's appointed travel agents.

Extra checked baggage is pre-booked online as weight packages (10/20/30 kg, one piece each; some routes offer 20/30/40 kg). Prices are dynamic and depend on the route - the live amount is shown in the booking flow or in Manage Booking.

Overweight / excess weight at the airport
Fee/rule information only. If you arrive at the airport with weight above your pre-purchased allowance, you are charged per extra kilo at the departure airport sector rate (plus airport charges), subject to space availability. Overweight excess cannot be pre-purchased online - it is charged at check-in.

SalamAir also sells a 10 kg carry-on Trolley Bag (overhead cabin bag, 45x56x25 cm) and an Express Bag priority-delivery service.
