Steps
- Go to flynorse.com and click "Your trips" in the top navigation.
- Enter your confirmation code and last name, then click "Search" to retrieve your booking.
- Select the additional baggage option for the passenger you want to add a bag for.
- Complete payment online to confirm the extra baggage on your booking.
- Alternatively, message the Norse chatbot on flynorse.com to add baggage to your booking.

Extra checked bags
Standard checked bags (max 23 kg / 158 cm) can be added during booking, after booking via Your Trips or the chatbot, or at the airport. Fees are per flight, per person and depend on booking channel.

Overweight baggage
Excess weight is charged in 1 kg increments, per leg, when a bag exceeds its purchased weight allowance.

Norse charges per piece. Fees depend on booking method and timing (during booking, after booking, at the airport), date of travel and destination. All fees are per flight, per person, filed in USD, and converted at the exchange rate on the date of purchase.
Is it cheaper to buy extra baggage online in advance vs at the airport?
Yes. A standard checked bag costs $59 during booking or $69–89 after booking versus $130 at the airport. Sports equipment costs $100 online versus $145 at the airport. Light ($85) and Heavy ($225) checked bags are airport-only purchases.
How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?

Can I get a refund or transfer extra baggage if I cancel or change my booking?
Baggage purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable, and upgrading baggage types is not permitted. Changes to your booking or fare type may require new baggage purchases. If Norse disrupts your flight and you rebook through the disruption portal, your baggage allowance transfers automatically.
Can I pay for extra baggage with cards or other methods?
Pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Diners Club. Trustly pay-by-bank is available for EU/UK citizens and Flex Pay installments for US citizens. Payments are accepted in USD, EUR, GBP, NOK, SEK and ZAR with no Norse FX fees.
Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know?
Light and Heavy checked bags cannot be purchased online — airport only. Baggage pooling is only permitted within the same booking reference. Infant bookings include one car seat and one stroller free of charge, and assistive devices such as wheelchairs and walkers are checked free of charge.
