Cabin baggage is limited by total combined weight for the cabin bag + small item; size limits verbatim from table.

Maximum weight per piece is 32kg (70lb). Maximum dimensions are 158cm/62in for standard allowance, up to 203cm/80in for oversized (with additional charge). Each passenger can check in a maximum of 5 pieces per sector including all allowances.

Can I get a refund for unused prepaid baggage?

No refund is provided if the passenger has not used up the prepaid baggage allowance. Prepaid Excess Baggage is non-transferable to another origin, destination, booking, or passenger. For ticket rebooking on same route, baggage can be transferred without additional charge. No refund for no-show or voluntary cancellation.

What are the rules for overweight and oversized baggage?

Oversized baggage (158cm-203cm) incurs a flat charge of USD 200/HKD 1,560 per piece. Overweight charges vary by zone. Baggage exceeding 32kg or 203cm will not be accepted and must be repacked or split. Charges accumulate for bags that are both overweight and oversized.

Are there restrictions for partner flights?

Prepaid Excess Baggage is only available for flights marketed and operated by Hong Kong Airlines (HX). It is not available for special flights, chartered flights, interline flights, or codeshare flights (excluding OZ/HU/CN). For codeshare flights, contact the operating carrier for baggage policies.

What payment methods are accepted?

Are there any exceptions to the baggage policy?
