  2. Enter your Reservation Number (PNR) and Last Name, then Search Flight to retrieve your reservation.
  3. Choose the EXTRA BAGGAGE service to add up to 20 kg, or SPECIAL BAGGAGE for sports equipment or pets.
  4. Select the baggage option you need and complete payment online.
  5. Your confirmation page loads after payment and a copy of the updated itinerary is sent by email.

Enter your reservation number (PNR) and surname in the My Booking section on freebirdairlines.com and choose EXTRA BAGGAGE or SPECIAL BAGGAGE. Extra baggage is also available via the Freebird Service Center.

When is the deadline to buy extra baggage online?

Extra baggage must be added prior to your flight through the website or the Service Center. No exact online cutoff time is published; at the airport, excess weight is charged per kilo at the counter.

How does the airline calculate extra baggage charges?

Your free allowance is printed on your ticket (waybill) and depends on your fare bundle (EcoBird 20 kg, SmartBird 25 kg, PremiumBird 30 kg). How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?

Pre-purchase top-up is sold as extra baggage up to 20 kg. No single piece of checked baggage over 32 kg is accepted; overweight pieces must be repacked into pieces under 32 kg or sent as cargo. Cabin baggage is limited to one item of 8 kg (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm).

Is it cheaper to buy extra baggage online in advance vs at the airport?

Pre-purchasing online in advance is presented as the cheaper option ('save up by increasing your baggage in advance'). Excess weight paid at the airport counter is charged for each kilo over the waybill limit.

What are the overweight or oversized baggage rules?

If your baggage exceeds the limit stated in the waybill, you are charged at the counter for each kilo. No public per-kilo rate table is published. Maximum single checked piece weight is 32 kg.

Can I get a refund or transfer extra baggage if I cancel or change my booking?
